One more thing to do! But alas, I read the lovely Gates blog and now I must have one of my own... or one of my family anyhow.
Our "core family" consists of one extremely loving and kind generous perfect man, Todd who is the "head of the family"....... Ok, I can't even finish this! lets try this again,
Todd, the loving but sometimes crabby father of the house. his goal it seems is to one day be bionic.... and win the lottery.
Then there is I, Laurie the mother of the house. My goal is to have as much fun as is humanely possible with our children before they leave us, while still teaching them to work.... and then get a real bedroom.
Matija- Tia the teenager. her current aim seems to be to drive the boys of the house crazy and to see as many concerts as possible before she has to start paying for them herself!
Colt- Also a teenager but only with brief spurts of the teenage attitude. He lives to torment his sister and kill or blow up as many things as possible.... but only in good ways of course.
We all love each other immensely and regularly show it to each other BUT you probably won't be reading about much mushy stuff here. We are far from perfect and sometimes drive each other crazy but we work it out in the end and life goes on.
