the weekly update...

a day late.

I was waiting yesterday for some truly inspiring recollection of the weeks events to pop into my cranium but nothing happend. so ok, we didn't have a exciting week is that so wrong. Pioneer day was this last week but we didn't even go to the parade. we just went about our normal way. Cousin Dawson did come spend a day following Colt around... or rather they spent almost the entire day in the pool but that was about it. Friday night we were all a tad strange and lay around singing random parts of random songs and telling exceedingly lame jokes, then Todd and I got to sleep in on Saturday as we were both off. That night we all went to see the Dark Knight, which I liked. The joker was funny! ok, so he was also twisted and demented but he was really funny all the same. Yesterday was work all day day like normal and then last night it poured rain! We haven't seen rain forever but it sure tried to make up for it last night. This morning I awoke to no water in our house. I've listened to people complaining all morning and I'm hoping its brief temporary thing. Well that's all. aren't we just the exciting bunch?

The week of Dates continued....

So the week of dates has continued :-) Thursday Todd and I "ran away" and ended up in Mesquite where we had dinner then played 21 for hours and hours and hours. I really like playing 21. I did lose $60 though, but I did get hours of entertainment out of it and it was nice to be out, just Todd and I for a night taking the time to remember we do like each other. even if we didn't go anywhere to exciting or get to stay for to long. Maybe we will have to restart monthly date nights even if its just going to town.

Tonight, the boys have a boys night out planned up in Salt Lake so I think Tia and I will go to dinner and then watch something on the DVD player... Like the black parade is dead maybe... Yep, sounds like a good idea to me!

Its Over!! Pshew!

No just kidding. the concert is over though, I had fun although I just couldn't "get into it". I don't know why, I don't seem to have problems getting into the normal concerts Tia and I go to but this one I had a hard time. Alcohol didn't even help much. David Cook was good though, the other David was alright, there was also a alright song here and there. Some chick (no idea what her name is) sang umbrella, the whole time she sang it I had gerard singing it in my head . But it was great fun and I think tauna had a good time. YAY

Before the concert we ate at ... ummmm... I have no idea, a mexican food grill placeamahober by the e-center and it was good but I ate too much.

before that we checked into our motel. There is a creepy guy across the hall. we are avoiding the creepy guy across the hall at all costs!

before that we picked up a prescription for Seth at Primary Childrens.

before that we went to a artistic venue and saw art in the making.

before that I drove really fast because I was late because

before that I watered the cows and before that I worked and before that I showered and before that I slept.

there now you know all I did today It was a long day and now there is still 14 minutes left and I'm not tired :-0 what the heck.

It was great fun and I'm glad Tauna agreed to go out on a date with me! Now of course she owes me.. mwah hahahahahahaha we are going to get her into a mosh pit yet!

Its Date Day!

Ok, so actually we could call this date week! but anyhow...

today is the long awaited date with Tauna! I'm so excited to take her to the concert even if its not quite my "thing". I'm sure it will be great and lovely and wonderfully grand and I will have a stupendously fun time. I really like alot of different kinds of music and hopefully they don't all suck at singing since they did make it to the final ten out of all those other losers so I'm sure it will be good. No MCR or Linkin Park mind you but good all the same. Besides I will be with Tauna so what else matters! YAY!

tomorrow we have dog class like normal.

Thursday Todd and I are going on a date... overnight... oooooooooooooooh

then Saturday Todd and Colt are going on a boys night out to see the PBR in Salt Lake.

This is going to be one hectic week! :-0 I think it will be fun though. YAY!

We were pretty lazy yesterday too so now its catch up and get crap done that should have already been done day!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

You all may not know it but today is Christmas! ok, so its Christmas in July and its only at my house but hey, let me have my Christmas dammit!

Back at the normal Christmas time we were very broke. these three winters of surgeries were enough to drain the bank accounts I tell ya. So this last year we did not have a family Christmas present and I told the kids we'd have Christmas in July this year. I don't know that they thought I was serious but I was! anyhow, Today is our family Christmas in July!

I would tell you what we are getting but then there is a chance it could ruin the surprise if Tia gets online before I get home from work today!

I missed Sunday!

I'm surprised Tia didn't cuss me! Ok, here is Sundays update... on Tuesday. :-)

Last week what happened... hmmm... it was the 4th of July. we didn't really do a whole lot, but were mostly quite lazy. when I got off work that morning Todd and I went to the parade (the kids didn't want to get up to get chores done to go) it was weird being there with no kids! We did move the big calves out to the farm with the rest of our bovines but other then that I don't remember doing anything to much. we had hotdogs that night then drove to town and watched the fireworks, came home and I believe ate banana cream pie ... yum! Tia and I also got to see Tauna last Tuesday! YAY! except her and Tia were very distracting as I was trying to work with the dog.. tsk tsk.. children! we did have a nice dinner after and it was great to see her. ummm... I really can't remember anything else going on. work, chores, sleep and not that much sleep! that's our normal stuff.

Now its Tuesday again, so Tia and I will be taking Bella to class again, so if any of you want to come see us feel free to come to the Petsmart in West Jordan. I'm really not looking forward to class tonight. Our original trainer quit petsmart (lats week was her last week) for a higher paying job so now we are going to have to finish out with the other trainer. We had her fill in once during the last session of classes and Bella didn't like her! hopefully she's over it now and it will all be good. I should post some pics of Bella she's getting big, she's a very good dog most of the times though. Although, last night I think someone slipped something into her puppy food cause she would suddenly go all crazy running around being stupid! was kinda funny in a way but she's not as graceful as she needs to be for that kind of crap!
