New Babies...

We finally got new babies yesterday evening YAY! I am always so excited for the new babies I apparently just don't remember how much work they are! I think I already remember as the other 3 family members are sick and so it's all about me :-0 We had a doe kid born last night that I was very excited about as she is out of China one of our old lady Saanens. China hasn't been doing so hot this winter and I just am not sure she has another one in her so I was hoping for a girl now that I have decided I just can't live without the big white girls. Right about noon Blue, another Saanen had a doe and a buck kid, then this evening Tinker, a nubian, had a doe and a buck kid. Of course the buck kid is the one with cool markings.. oh well. Here are a few pics I took when the nubians were about a half hour old. They hadn't even stood all the way up yet but hey I was wanting to take pics of China's girl. She is the huge looking one. the other saanen girl is the one with the accidental iodine spotting :-) The nubie girl is black and the boy is the wild black and white one.

It's official!

Kidding season is almost here! (for our family at least) So I thought it would be the appropiate time time to tell you all that I will no longer be doing goats. So you will more than likely not be seeing me at shows anymore. (I'm now the designated stay-at-home-and-do-chores-person)
On the positive side, there's no more stress of showing.
On the negative side, I now have to pay for my own concert tickets... Hmmm....

We are so boring!

I've been waiting for something interesting to happen so I could blog about it, but alas we must be the most boring people in the world because obviously we don't do anything! I did go to St George last weekend with Jenn (and met up with Theresa) for our girls night (which turned into girls weekend!). It was a blast and I swear I wrote but it, but apparantly I only dreamt of writing about it. hee hee. Anyhow, nothing going on maybe tomorrow will be exciting and I can blog then. Who cooks dinner? depends on the night. used to be almost always me. lately Todd has been cooking at least 3 nights a week usually.

Who asked who out first? To actually go somewhere, he asked me. Then he stood me up. Harumph

Who proposed? He proposed. over and over and over again. Hell I thought he was joking.

Who has more siblings? Me. even if you only count my mothers kids. If you count the set from the biological father of myself, I really win. Of course I don't know them so they shouldn't really count.

Who wears the pants? Depends on what that question means. if you mean literally, then that would be him. as he always wears pants and I would wear shorts all the time. If you mean who is in charge of everything, then that would probably be me. Although he has his moments.

The Doctor

Well I just remembered that I forgot to update about the doctor appointment on Monday. You should already realize it was not great and fantastic news or I wouldn't have forgotten!! No work for at least a month. They'll discuss it again at the next appointment. There was some words about not being back to normal for a year :-0 nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo He has to go back to work soon. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Ok, so I'll have to get another job. then it will all be alright. That will work and all will be fine with the world.

I'm going to keep telling myself this.

Superbowl Sunday

What that means to me... not much . Ok, I will admit I usually watch the superbowl if for nothing else but the commercials but this year I am at work so I won't be watching anything. Except maybe time pass by... pass by very very slowly. It has been a very dead morning here at the lovely station I call a job. I believe I've now had 23 customers in 4 hours and a few of those were actually the same people. I've not even sold much beer. I'm shocke. Of course there are still a few hours to go befoe the game starts so there may be a mad rush... Riiiiiiiiiiight. No new news to report, Dr on monday... maybe he'll have good news! puppies all gone. Ok, one is sold but still at our house for a few more days. Kids are doing dandy in school. no goats having babies yet. It does keep storming that's about it. Ta ta.
